In the waters of our seas thriving criminal activities prosper: from drug trafficking to arms and oil smuggling, from the unlawful disposal of toxic waste to human trafficking. Taking advantage of the region’s many geopolitical frailties and the complicity of certain governments, mafias of various nationalities make a mockery of existing borders and create new ones, re-designing Mediterranean geography with unpredictable transnational accords.

Theatre and Migration - Astrágali in Nicosia
