Dossier: Sub-Saharan migrations in Algeria
Following the “Sudanese in Cairo”, this new feature is investigating sub- Saharan migrations in Algeria. Historically, important migrations routes went through the country. This year though, with more than 20.000 sub-Saharan migrants, the Algerian government is now facing a new phenomenon that is having an unprecedented magnitude. (This cycle of feature is supported by the European Cultural Foundation).
