Gaza needs our help The "all-out war" against Palestinians in Gaza, more than 80 percent of whom depend on food aid to survive, is being waged with more than bombs and missiles. As Israel continues its chokehold on Gaza's 1.5 million people, humanitarian agencies from the United Nations on down have struggled to bring the most basic aid, including food and medicine, into this "closed military zone." |

A letter to Noora I’m sorry, I know I’ve disappointed you. After all I’m just another European. And our elections are just round the corner, too, and I’ll get all heated over – perhaps I’ll even write an article – and then, when the day arrives, I’ll vote for a Europe, and a proud Malta, that will continue to screw Palestine. |

A Music School Silenced in Gaza There was a music school in Gaza. It was just six months old. The compound was targeted in the first wave of Israeli bombardments on December 27, and twice more the next day. The five-story building was vaporized; a flat gravel surface is all that remains. |
