DAM – Rap Resistance
MC's Suhell Nafar, Tamer Nafar, Mahmoud Jreri have formed in 1998 the first and leading Palestinian Rap Group. The lyrics of DAM are influenced by the on- going Israeli - Palestinian conflict as well as by the Palestinian struggle for freedom and equality. The controversial title track of their second album "Min Irhabi" (who's the terrorist?) released in 2001 was downloaded by more than 1 million people within a month.

48 Arab-Israeli or Palestinians?
Who are the Palestinians living in Israel? the so-called “Arabs of 48”, to signify the Palestinians who stayed within the borders of the state of Israel after its creation in 1948 and obtained the Israeli nationality since then. Almost 60 years after, what happened to there memories? to there self perception? And what is the nature of there relation with the Jewish society and the State of Israel? These are the questions I wanted to clarify with Nadim Nashef, Head of The Association for Arab Youth – Baladna and Director of the international movement YAP – Youth Action for Peace.
